I had the pleasure and honor, along with Dawn Colsia, my fellow photographer, of photographing the men, women and children that were recipients of organ transplants over the years. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable photo shoots I have ever done. It was also the most humbling. Talking to these individuals puts life into perspective. Having all received the gift of life from some unselfish organ donor, they all exhibited a calm love of life. Their joy and gratitude was contagious.
